Description
Brass Plates are as a standard 1.0 mm in thickness. Other thicknesses up to 2 mm can be obtained at an additional cost. They are all bright polished brass.
Just request the maximum size that you can be accomodated on the area you wish the plate to go and we will let you know the closest stock size that we have. Exact sizes to your specific requirements can be purchased on your behalf and then engraved as required.
Engraving is normally diamond cut but if paint infill is required then a deeper cut will be required and we then use a Tungsten V-shaped cutter.
If holes are necessary, then they can be added as required.
Also, though this is personal preference, the brass can be coated with a varnish to aid external protection from the weather. Many people just allow the natural discolouration caused by the weather to blacken the brass over time.
